Head injuries in schools account for 25% of all playground injuries. When a child falls and bumps there head at school it is important that the initial assessment is undertaken correctly to ensure that the right action is taken to consult the right health care proffessional. This can be difficult, especially when the child is young, upset and the actual injury itself was not witnessed by an adult.
