Touching or getting within close contact with any patient will increase the risk of catching covid-19. To ensure that the risk is well managed it is vital first aiders are well trained. We are now offering an additional module on our course which covers the responsiblity of a first aider to keep themself safe from covid when dealing with a patient.
The module covers:
- How to give mouth to mouth and the changes to the UK Resuscitation Guidelines
- First Aid Risk Assessment changes
- PPE
- Disposing of hazzardous waste
Our additional Covid-19 Emergency Planning Module is now delivered by our trainers on all our courses over 12 hours in length.
