16 hour Remote Outdoor First Aid training - 14th & 15th September 2019

This is a 16 hour course, delivered over two 8 hour days. The two days are completed outside with practical learning scenarios. 

This course covers the following content:

  • Primary assessment
  • Recovery position
  • Resuscitation
  • Choking management
  • Management of an unconscious casualty
  • Secondary assessment
  • Major trauma
  • Head, chest and internal injury
  • Spinal recovery position
  • Hypothermia
  • Acute mountain sickness
  • Cold related injuries
  • Management of fractures
  • Common medical emergencies

On successful completion of the course delegates will receive a Remote Outdoor First Aid certificate which is valid for 3 years.

This course includes FREE course resources and FREE venue parking.  

Our 16 hour Remote Outdoor First Aid training course is held at our public venue on a Saturday and Sunday near Guildford. The course runs from 9.00am to 5.00pm, at Merrist Wood College, Animal Management Centre.

The cost of this course is £150 + VAT = £180 per person.
